1. Eat the harvest.

The best high-antioxidant vegetables and fruits are available in this peak season right now, you should eat them daily. Most favorites and useful are cranberries, blueberries, pumpkin, pomegranate, and squash. These foods will help feed your skin from the inside out and keep it looking its youngest most and beautiful best.

In certain cases, extremely dry skin can be an indicator of a larger medical issue, such as diabetes or underactive thyroid or maybe some respiratory disease. Work with a healthcare professional to determine a more specific treatment plan.

2. Don’t crank up the heat.

Turning up the heat indoors seems like a natural response to a cozy home feeling your mood will ask for, but raising the temperature controller or thermostat indoors dries the air, and skin out even more. At last the result is dry, flaky skin that is itchy and uncomfortable. So don’t use any machines to control the air, just develop some good skincare routine.

3. Start using your humidifier.

To a great remedy of a dry home, bring in a humidifier and set humidity levels between 45% and 55% to infuse the air with enough moisture for your skin to secure the benefits.

4. Take quick warm (not much hot) showers.

A long hot shower may feel heavenly on cold mornings, but it strips out the water and natural oils in your skin, thus drying it out, so do not take too many warm showers. Limit showers to 15-minutes or less, using warm water, rather than much hot hot water.

5. Don’t use harsh soap.

Antibacterial soaps or Deodorants are especially harsh on your skin, compromising your skin’s natural moisture barrier is not good. Try to use Cana Gold 24k premium body Butter after your shower to lock moisture in. It is designed to make your morning routine in half, by not doing some extra effort just have to apply premium body butter & plus it adds extra moisture when you most need it.

6. Use a multitasking moisturizer.

After showering, blot excess water off your body, instead of roughly rubbing your skin with a towel, use it by simply dabbing on your skin. Next, apply a body moisturizer while your skin is damp, gently apply it all over. Use a formula that gently gets rid of dry, dead skin cells, while also locking in moisture. Look for a thick formula over lotion and also check for calcium ceramides on the ingredient list, which are naturally found in the skin’s outer layer, helps to retain moisture in your skin and can help to replenish the skin’s moisture barrier. We recommend Cana Gold 24k gold and caviar premium body butter for all body and Cana Gold 24k Gold and Caviar face moisturizer for all skin types.

7. Give your hands extra TLC.

Moisturizing hands every time after washing and sanitizing, frequent washing of hands reduces the spread of the novel coronavirus, it can lead to skin irritation and dryness. “I think lots of people are experiencing a bit of that dry hand phenomenon with the increased frequency of hand-washing.

Because all the instructions we get recently stresses that handwashing is “paramount and important” because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Do your best to also hydrate your skin and keep it moist.

Here are suggestions from Cana Gold experts on how people can take care of their skin as they keep up on washing their hands:

  • Avoid using piping hot water

“When washing, you don’t necessarily need hot water. Use warm or cool water. Try not to use piping hot water, because that can irritate your hands.”

  • Be gentle when drying hands

“When drying your hands, you want to be gentle. Like, pat your hands dry. Don’t rub your hands dry aggressively, because that can irritate your hands more.”

  • Use a moisturizer after washing hands

“One really good practice is that after washing your hands, put on a moisturizer. That can help to hydrate the hands and protect skin barriers.

“We typically recommend something thicker, like an actual hand barrier cream or an ointment. Something that will hydrate the hands more as opposed to a lotion or something light, which might not do a lot of hydrating and Cana Gold  has the perfect solution with our 24k Gold and caviar body butter that is thick and rich with omega 3 and 9 which lock the moist inside your skin more than any regular moisturizer in addition to the jasmine oil that exists in our formula not only to give you aroma relaxing smell but also disinfection  properties as well ”

8. Ease up on facial exfoliating.

Reduce the frequency of facial peels and masks to avoid irritating your skin.

Use Cana Gold 24k gold and caviar deep facial peel that is rich with black caviar and 24K gold and that comes in jelly form so soft on the skin but it exfoliates the dead skin like spa deep facial peel without irritating the skin or scratching it.

9. Always go fragrance-free dye-free options.

Avoid irritants that are often found in everyday products by selecting fragrance-free or dye-free options in skincare products. Un-scented means there’s a masking scent and this is just another form of fragrance designed for not having a smell.

All Cana Gold products use natural essential oil which gives you a nice aroma and benefits your skin. All are fragrance-free and have natural fragrance.

Avoid putting on rough or irritating fabrics like wool or polyester directly against your skin, especially the soft areas like neck. Stick to soft and pure fabrics, such as cotton, especially if they are in direct contact with your skin. Use soft and gentle fabrics for better skin, let your skin breathe.
